How to back up and restore database gFlash



GFlash database
Flashcard sets for download, create, or edit gFlash, these flashcards and are supported by the data stored in the database.  The database used to monitor the progress of the issue available card sets gFlash part, scoring, and more.

Are database backups required?
GFlash for most users is usually not necessary to explicitly back gFlash database because the iOS system does it automatically.   And data upload web sources (a Google spreadsheet, gWhiz catalog, Premium series, the StudyStack, Quizlet) you can just download it again.

There is still, however, a few of the situations in which the user is a good idea to copy the database, gFlash:


  • To replicate the flashcard database enhancement (or another user's device)

  • The second level of "insurance" in the case of iTunes/iCloud-backup cannot save the data

How to make a database backup gFlash



  1. On the start screen, select the gFlash tab Bar for the list item .

  2. Select export from the menu.  This will take you to the database, which can be used in iTunes.  Please note that Premium content will not be exported, and (because it can be downloaded at any time at no extra charge). Import to iTunes on Mac or PC.

  3. Select your device in the left panel

  4. Click the InfoBar at the top of the Apps .

  5. Next, scroll down to file sharing .  Select gFlash + or gFlashPro

  6. Drag the exported directory documents list to the desktop.  The export directory is gflash. sqlite file that is the actual database.



How to restore a database backup gFlash


Important!To restore the database, Delete and gFlash will overwrite the current database.  Do not recover the database, restore the content if the question card in a device that you do not want to lose.


  1. In ITunes Select gFlash device that you want to restore.  This can be the same device that is created from a database, or another device to which you are moving the data.

  2. Click the InfoBar at the top of the Apps .

  3. Next, go to the file sharing section.  Select gFlash + or gFlashPro.

  4. Click the Add button, and then navigate to the gflash. sqlite file, which is stored in the past.  Select gflash. sqlite , and it will be added to the files in the list. gFlash

  5. Make sure that the gFlash has finished (if you're not sure how to close app, here you will find the instructions).

  6. Start gFlash.

  7. The database can be restored, and a documentary about the list in iTunes will be deleted.
