Official Facebook and flip the apps that come with the new look of Windows store



Apps appeared on the as-yet-unannounced 8-inch Acer Windows 8 tablet during a private briefing on the company's Build-Conference in San Francisco.

A flip chart, a popular social magazine for iOS and Android, has a custom-built Tube-style application for Windows 8, according to a company blog post.

"Flipboard is tailored to the new forum allows Windows users to read, create, and share services to almost any topic imaginable," the post read.

Facebook has not yet commented on the official app Windows 8, but it will certainly be a boost for the fledgling operating system and encourage more big names, jump on board.
